Jumia, the leading online shopping mall in the country, has partnered Binatone, a British brand that sells appliances and electrical goods, to enable customers purchase various products on the Jumia platform.
Some of the products that would be on sale on Jumia Online include fans, rice cookers, blenders, steam and dry irons, gas cookers, freezers, refrigerators, washing machines, water dispensers, power devices, among others.
All these appliances, when bought by customers online, would be delivered to their homes or offices at the click of a button.
This partnership follows Binatone’s commitment to offer a 2-year warranty for all of its products to mark its 40th Anniversary in Africa.
Venu Babu, Managing Director of Binatone, said “We are excited to launch our Shop-in Shop with Jumia, as it will help extend our reach to our online customers.
“We will also extend our 2-year warranty to online customers, after the great success we have experienced in the market.”
