Participants on the streets La
Indomie Instant Noodles on Saturday partnered the Young Adult Fellowship (YAF), a generational group in the La Nativity Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, as it embarked on its 6th annual health walk.
The walk, dubbed, “A walk for service”, was part of a week-long programme, as the group celebrates the 2015 edition of the YAF Week under theme, “Anointed for service”.
The one-and-a-half exercise attracted about a thousand participants who were provided with a free branded YAF Walk and Indomie embossed T-shirts for the event that commenced at the church’s premises through some of the major streets in the La Township, covering almost 10km.
Speaking with DAILY GUIDE SPORTS after the walk, Mr Fred Hesse, Chairman of the Committee in charge of the celebration, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Indomie for the sponsorship and prayed for a long lasting deal.
The ‘walkers’, both young and old, were served with sumptuously prepared Indomie after the walk.
