Management and staff of uniCredit on May Day took advantage of the rest day and participated in a two-hour health walk.
Most of the top management, including Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Samuel Sakyi-Hyde, took part in the walk that was preceded by aerobics which lasted for an hour.
Mr. Sakyi-Hyde congratulated all staff for participating in the health walk and encouraged them to continue with regular exercise to improve their overall well-being.
The event also coincided with the relocation of the corporate head office of the financial institution to Ridge.
Mr. Sakyi-Hyde used the opportunity to congratulate all staff for their immense contribution to the development of the institution.
“I take this opportunity to again celebrate all employees for your contributions over the years. As we celebrate this great milestone in the history of the institution, let us all remember that we have taken on even a greater commitment towards our customers. It can only get better than they have experienced over the years.”
Touching briefly on the new corporate head office, Mr. Sakyi-Hyde said the decision to relocate the corporate head office was very strategic to the new direction of uniCredit.
It is also a demonstration of the company’s commitment to providing superior customer service and convenience to customers, he said.
The CEO hinted that in line with this drive a full service branch has also been opened at Ridge on the premises of the head office to provide full banking services to clients.
uniCredit, which is currently one of the leading Savings and Loans Companies in Ghana, has 13 branches in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi.
